Hermes Agent is positioned as an agent that improves through use. Its public site and repository frame the product around persistent memory, generated skills, messaging surfaces, scheduling, web and browser tools, subagents, and isolated sandbox backends.
That makes Hermes less interesting as “another coding assistant” and more interesting as a runtime thesis: the agent is not only the model call. It is the place where conversation history, skills, tools, remote execution, scheduled work, and user-specific habits are expected to accumulate.
