OpenAI models are coming to Google Cloud

In one minute

OpenAI and Google Cloud announced plans to bring OpenAI frontier models and Codex agentic workflows to Google Cloud Model Garden.

What changed: OpenAI models and Codex are newly coming to Google Cloud Model Garden, with Marketplace purchasing and Google Cloud commitment drawdown; models are also slated for Antigravity and Gemini Agent.

The announcement was published on October 21, 2026.

Google Cloud customers will be able to buy the models through Google Cloud Marketplace. Organizations with Google Cloud spend commitments will be able to use those commitments for the purchases. OpenAI says the offering will pair its models with Google Cloud access controls, centralized data governance, and infrastructure for enterprise workloads.

OpenAI also says its models will soon be available in Google Antigravity and Gemini Agent. General availability through Google Cloud is planned for the coming weeks, and OpenAI is accepting access requests. The announcement does not name the models, provide pricing, identify supported regions, specify data-handling terms, or give a precise launch date. Microsoft remains OpenAI's primary cloud partner.
