OpenAI and Google Cloud said that OpenAI’s frontier models and Codex agent workflows will be added to Google

In one minute

OpenAI and Google Cloud said that OpenAI’s frontier models and Codex agent workflows will be added to Google Cloud’s Model Garden.

What changed: Same event as OpenAI ❤️ Google Cloud GPT-6 Astra, GPT-6.1 Sol, and GPT-6 Luna models are now available on Google Cloud.

The announcement was published on October 21, 2026.

Google Cloud customers will be able to buy access through Google Cloud Marketplace. Organizations with Google Cloud spending commitments can apply those purchases toward their commitments. OpenAI says the integration will use Google Cloud’s access controls, centralized data management, and infrastructure.

General availability is planned for the coming weeks, and OpenAI provides a form to request access. The company also says its models will soon be available in Google Antigravity and Gemini Agent. Microsoft remains OpenAI’s primary cloud partner.

The announcement does not name the specific OpenAI models, give prices, identify supported regions, set an exact general-availability date, or describe technical limits for the Model Garden, Antigravity, or Gemini Agent integrations.
