micro1 announces commitment to spend $1B on enterprise data acquisition over the next 12 months

In one minute

micro1 said on October 9, 2026 that it will commit $1 billion over the next 12 months to acquiring and licensing enterprise operational data through its Company Data Partnerships program.

What changed: micro1 now commits $1 billion over 12 months to acquire and license enterprise operational data, financed by Citi and Hercules Capital.

The company says it uses de-identified company data to create reinforcement-learning environments based on business operations. In those environments, AI models and agents are intended to learn workflows, decision-making, and task completion under incomplete information, competing priorities, and exceptions. micro1 says the spending will expand the industries and workflows represented in those environments.

micro1 said Citi and Hercules Capital are providing the capital financing the initiative. The announcement does not identify participating companies, disclose signed partnership volumes or commercial terms, specify the data categories or jurisdictions involved, or establish how much of the stated commitment has already been spent.
