cloudflare/forge: open-source pipeline for generating SDKs, CLIs and docs from OpenAPI

In one minute

Cloudflare has published Forge, an Apache-2.0-licensed, schema-first framework for generating API surfaces from OpenAPI specifications.

What changed: Same event as Introducing Forge: the open source pipeline for generating SDKs, CLIs, docs, and more

The public repository describes a plugin-based system that resolves OpenAPI 3.x documents and applies JSONPath-based overlays.

Forge can generate typed SDKs, CLI interfaces, runtime helpers, and documentation. Cloudflare says its immediate focus is the first Forge output, the cf CLI. The repository currently contains source code, tests, benchmarks, RFCs, and project configuration, and is publicly available on GitHub.

The README names TypeScript, Go, Python, Terraform, and documentation as targets Cloudflare intends to make easier to support in parallel with releases of its own SDK targets. It does not establish that those targets are already shipped, nor does it state a stable API version, supported production guarantees, pricing, or a release schedule.
