1Password surpasses $500 million ARR on enterprise AI agent demand

In one minute

1Password told The Wall Street Journal that it has surpassed $500 million in annual recurring revenue, up from $400 million in November 2025.

What changed: 1Password now reports more than $500 million in ARR and double-digit free-cash-flow margin, with growth driven by enterprise demand for AI agents.

The company said its free-cash-flow margin is in the double digits.

The company said net new ARR grew about 60% through the first three quarters of the year, including 90% year-over-year growth in the third quarter. It serves more than 200,000 businesses, and CEO David Faugno said roughly 75% of ARR comes from business customers.

1Password plans to announce 1Password for Agents, a platform intended to let personal AI assistants use passwords, credentials, and secrets without seeing or storing them. The source names Meta, SpaceX, Instinct, OpenAI, and Anthropic as launch partners.

The report does not establish a price, general-availability date, supported technical interfaces, the terms of the partnerships, or independently verified usage of the new platform.
