Matt Pocock's skills repository includes an in-progress retro skill that reviews a coding session and suggests changes to the coding agent's environment rather than to the code. The user invokes it explicitly; it reads the session logs and looks for improvements in navigation, automated checks, coding standards, the global AGENTS.md, tool economy, instructions that change nothing, and access to information, then presents the candidates by severity.
A recent change makes it classify coding-standard findings first: a mechanical violation such as a banned API, an import shape, or a file-location rule gets a deterministic check in the linter, a pre-commit hook, or CI, while CODING_STANDARDS.md is kept for judgement calls. A repository with no guardrail at all is reported as a finding in its own right. The skill is marked in progress and publishes no measured results.
