Anthropic links model deployment control to hardware

Anthropic's Model Hardware Standard is queued as a governance-boundary signal connecting model capability, hardware environment, deployment controls, and trusted access.

Anthropic's Model Hardware Standard preview is recorded as a deployment-governance signal. The durable point is that model control is being linked to the hardware environment, not only to policy text or API rules.

For New Runtime, this extends the safety boundary downward into infrastructure. If model capability, hardware constraints, deployment controls, and trusted access are treated as one system, governance becomes a runtime architecture question. The next thing to watch is whether this remains a research preview or turns into a standard that other infrastructure actors can implement and audit.
