Anthropic announced that Projects now run from one conversation, starting in Claude Code. A user describes the work, and Claude directs parallel threads that keep working after the laptop is closed. Threads share project memory and a library of files, and an Overview panel shows what is waiting on the user. The feature is in beta for select Pro and Max users in cloud sessions.
Orchestration moves from the user to Claude, which routes requests to new or existing threads. Because threads run in the cloud, they cannot yet reach files or tools on a local computer or internal network. The posts give no details on concurrency limits or pricing.
