The public-beta app says it supports Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 13 or later and Intel Macs running macOS 13.4 or later.
The release adds a task canvas for arranging tasks, notes, and AI conversations with connections, groups, selection, and hierarchical navigation. It also adds a per-account AI-chat send queue that survives refreshes and restarts, although restored messages require the user to continue them manually.
Void also introduced a notes workspace with two-way Obsidian sync; workspace pages can be referenced in its AI interface. Other additions include clipboard history, screenshot and screen-recording entry points, improved local MCP configuration and connection diagnostics, and Island status integrations for CodeBuddy, WorkBuddy, pi, and Kimi CLI sessions.
The changelog does not establish how reliable the Obsidian sync or agent-status integrations are in practice, which model providers are available to each user, or adoption, pricing, and data-handling details for these features.
