Vercel CLI adds 'vercel connect discover' to search 1000+ Vercel Connect services from the terminal

In one minute

Vercel has added two Vercel Connect commands to its CLI: `vercel connect discover` and `vercel connect categories`.

What changed: Vercel adds terminal search across 1,000+ Connect services, with filters and JSON output; prior coverage concerned service submissions and CLI trace/budget tools.

The company says the commands are available in Vercel CLI version 64.1.0 and later.

vercel connect discover searches more than 1,000 services in the Vercel Connect catalog by name, alias, keyword, and description. Results can be filtered by category, connection method such as MCP or OAuth, the product exposed by a service, and whether a service forwards webhook triggers. Both commands support --format=json for scripts and agents.

After finding a service, a user can supply its name to vercel connect create to create a connector; Vercel illustrates this with vercel connect create slack. The source does not establish which services are available to every account, whether individual connectors require separate credentials or paid plans, or whether the catalog’s stated count and integrations are independently verified.
