Runway launched App Studio , a no-code builder that turns plain-language descriptions into creative apps.

In one minute

Runway has launched App Studio, a no-code builder for creating reusable creative applications inside its platform.

What changed: Runway has launched App Studio, a no-code creative app builder that packages workflows, models and references into reusable team apps.

Users describe what an app should do in plain language; Runway says App Studio codes, tests, and deploys it without code, API keys, or hosting to manage.

The product is designed to package a prompt, model chain, references, and brand settings into a tool that can be run repeatedly. Apps can be refined with natural-language instructions, rolled back, kept private, shared with teammates, or published through a link. Runway says every shared link requires sign-in, and people using a public link run generations on their own credits.

App Studio is included with every paid Runway plan. Building, running, and hosting consume existing credits and do not require an add-on. Workspace admins can view app usage and manage access; disabled models remain disabled in apps. Existing Runway Apps have moved into App Studio without required action. The source does not state credit costs for typical apps, regional availability, or independently measured app quality.
