Release v0.2.1-rc.3 | deepseek-ai/deepseek-harness

In one minute

DeepSeek released DeepSeek Harness v0.2.1-rc.3 as a pre-release on GitHub.

What changed: DeepSeek Harness has a new v0.2.1-rc.3 pre-release, posted Oct. 23; the prior documents cover its initial publication and desktop launch.

The release is tagged dsh-v0.2.1-rc.3, was published on October 23, and follows v0.2.1-rc.2.

The notes add “More” menus in the left sidebar, conversation views, and right sidebar. DeepSeek says these menus support browsing and creating plugins. The release also fixes an issue in which an unsent draft could be lost after switching conversations and then selecting New Session.

For users connecting through a DeepSeek API key, the adapter now refreshes its model list using the same method as account sign-in. The page links a changelog covering the change from rc.2 to rc.3. The release notes do not establish changes to model capabilities, API pricing, plugin compatibility, platform support, or general availability; the version remains marked as a pre-release.
