Paperclip released v2026.1023.0 on October 23, 2026. The release contains 200 commits and was promoted from 2026.1012.1-beta.0.
It adds private tasks and projects with visibility rules covering task lists, search, transcripts, logs, attachments, work products, and plugin reads. Administrators and owners do not automatically see private work; a breakGlass=true access path writes an audit record. The release also adds connections for OpenRouter, Amazon Bedrock, Google Gemini, and generic OpenAI Responses, Anthropic Messages, and Chat Completions endpoints. Compatible agents can select a connection and use manually entered model IDs.
MCP-connected assistants can now edit tasks, upload files, and configure agents. Other additions include Slack bot setup through Slack's Manifest API, a GitHub review status check, and a cost ledger. The Operator preset expands from one grant to 14, while budget policies block unpriced usage by default.
The release notes do not establish production reliability, provider availability for every deployment, or the security outcome of a local configuration.
