Oracle announces Deep Trust AI Architecture to enforce security and business rules for AI agents at the database layer

In one minute

Oracle announced Deep Trust AI Architecture at Oracle AI World in Las Vegas on October 26, 2026.

What changed: Oracle announced its own Deep Trust AI Architecture, embedding security, privacy, business rules and trusted app generation across four stack layers; this is distinct from NVIDIA’s agent runtime and AWS’s framework.

The company describes it as a blueprint spanning software platform, data, data access, and application development for AI agents and AI-generated applications.

The announcement includes Deep Data Security, which applies end-user access rules in Oracle AI Database on every SQL request using a cryptographically signed corporate-directory token. Oracle SQL Assertions are intended to enforce database business rules. Deep Trust Data APIs expose logical business objects rather than arbitrary SQL, while Deep NL2SQL combines business and data context with user feedback and knowledge-change verification.

Oracle also said its APEX AI Application Generator lets coding agents produce APEXlang declarative application definitions executed by the centralized APEX runtime. The release names Codex among compatible coding agents. Oracle says security and patching tools for cloud co-managed and on-premises systems are free or highly discounted through the end of February 2027.

The source does not give pricing, general-availability dates, performance results, or independent evidence that these controls prevent agent misuse in deployed customer environments.
