The release adds ten numbered /presets slots for reusable prompts and slash commands, with a keyboard menu for selecting them.
The CLI can now take inline /model arguments for model, reasoning effort, and speed, plus inline /permissions arguments for permission profiles. It also adds fullscreen transcript image previews on terminals that support Kitty or Sixel graphics.
For enterprise MCP connections, Codex can authenticate through eligible Codex account grants or a dedicated sign-in flow, including OAuth clients that require secrets. The release also masks credentials in supported remote Bash commands and Zsh snapshot sessions, enables the Amazon Bedrock setup wizard by default, and fixes issues with compaction, resumed sessions, Windows proxy authentication, and sandbox checks.
The release notes do not establish which account grants are eligible, whether any feature is limited by plan or deployment, or the pricing and availability of the connected services.
