The release changes the skill so that, when it is given an existing project, specification, plan, or files, it reads that context before its first question. It is intended to avoid asking for information already present in those materials.
The new flow reflects a request with project context, asks about an unresolved point, and says what an answer would change. It presents two or three implementation approaches, recommends one, waits for a choice, writes a design document, and does not build before approval. In one maintainer test scenario, the skill skipped the document in 24 of 24 runs before the change and in 3 of 24 runs after it.
The release also moves material from three long skills into reference files. The notes say Claude Code re-attaches a skill cut off at 20,000 characters after compaction; a new test fails when a SKILL.md reaches 20,000 bytes. Issue and pull-request templates now request a human-written summary under 200 words and information about the filer and their human partner.
The release notes do not establish that the revised questions work better across projects, or that the reported test result generalizes beyond the stated scenario.
