NVIDIA and Meta expand collaboration on Meta's Muse models and agents, eye OpenShell and Sentry for agent security

In one minute

NVIDIA and Meta announced an expanded collaboration on Meta's Muse and Muse family of models.

What changed: NVIDIA and Meta now plan to deepen Muse optimization work and consider OpenShell/Sentry for agent security, while Meta plans broader Vera Rubin, Vera CPU and Spectrum-X deployment.

The companies said they will work on inference, training and workflow optimizations intended to improve performance and total cost of ownership.

Meta intends to expand deployments of NVIDIA Vera Rubin and Vera CPUs for next-generation agents, alongside Spectrum-X Ethernet networking and BlueField-4. NVIDIA also said it plans to invest $3 billion in Meta's equity offering.

The companies said they will consider further work with NVIDIA's OpenShell Reference Architecture, including OpenShell for safe agent deployment and Sentry for monitoring agent behavior. The announcement does not establish a shipped Meta integration, a deployment timetable, technical specifications, commercial terms, or user access to OpenShell or Sentry.
