Citing Sensor Tower, the report says only 11 other mobile apps have reached 10 million US downloads over that period.
Sensor Tower recorded 2.5 million daily active users on October 16, up 15% week over week. It estimates US retention at 30% after seven days and 23% after 14 days, versus averages of 19% and 16% for ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok. Meta reportedly allocated 39% of its advertising spend to Muse in October, up from 23% the prior month.
Muse is currently available only in the United States and Canada. The report says it held the top US App Store rank except on October 19 and was No. 1 on Google Play over the prior 30 days.
The source does not establish why users retained the app, whether those retention rates will persist, or how much of the download growth came from Meta's cross-promotion versus paid advertising.
