LangChain’s LangSmith Cloud changelog says LangSmith Engine now monitors CI on pull requests it opens

In one minute

LangChain’s LangSmith Cloud changelog says LangSmith Engine now monitors CI on pull requests it opens.

What changed: This LangSmith Cloud changelog adds updates beyond the prior LangSmith Engine v2 announcement and agent-fix validation coverage.

When checks fail on its own commits, Engine can push a revised change intended to reproduce and fix the failure. The repair chain is limited to three revisions or 90 minutes.

The October 5–12, 2026 update also changes issue validation: Engine replays each source run against the fix preview deployment. LangChain says this avoids validation failures where the original run used non-chat input, checkpoint state, or an agent-type configuration. Engine is available on BYOC data planes that report Engine enabled, with an independent monthly Engine budget for each data plane.

In the October 12–19 entry, LangChain says Engine fix pull requests now open ready for review rather than as drafts, and issue charts mark when a fix PR merged. The changelog does not establish success rates, the types of CI failures Engine can resolve, or whether its changes pass review without human modification.
