Krea’s changelog says that every workspace can now call the Krea 3 API

In one minute

Krea’s changelog says that every workspace can now call the Krea 3 API.

What changed: The changelog adds a new Krea 3 API capability: edits can target up to 24 labeled bounding-box regions, with per-region notes and high thinking mode.

The fast and high thinking modes no longer require beta access. Krea also says Krea 3 left beta on October 20, 2026.

The API gained thinking_mode: "ultra" for Max plans and above. It requires at least one reference image, generates several candidates and returns a selected 2K result, according to Krea. The company says jobs can take several minutes and adds $0.20 per generation.

On October 23, Krea added bounding boxes for Krea 3 edits through a regions parameter. Coordinates are fractions from 0 to 1 of image width and height; a request can contain up to 24 regions, each with its own note. Prompts can refer to boxes with @label, and a top-level prompt is optional when a box has a note. The feature requires thinking_mode: "high".

The changelog does not establish API throughput, general pricing beyond the Ultra surcharge, output quality, or availability by region.
