Ideogram launches Vector 1.0, its first model for generating editable SVGs

In one minute

Ideogram has launched Ideogram Vector, its first vector model for producing editable SVG artwork.

What changed: Same event as Ideogram released Vector 1.0, a new vector model that generates detailed SVGs and vectorizes images.

The model can generate logos, wordmarks, illustrations, and print-oriented artwork from a text prompt or an existing image.

The company says the output is scalable and editable: users can adjust colors and refine individual shapes in a vector editor. Vector is available in the Ideogram app and through the API. Listed text-to-vector API prices are $0.13 per SVG at low quality, $0.16 at medium, and $0.20 at high; high quality with references is listed at $0.32. Image-to-vector is listed at $0.10 per image.

Ideogram presents the product for logos, branding, labels, stickers, print, and merchandise. The source does not provide comparative evaluations against other vector-generation tools, benchmark results, API rate limits, or a published release date. It also does not establish how reliably generated SVGs will meet production requirements for a specific design workflow.
