Diagrid releases diagrid-goose, durable Dapr Workflow execution for Goose agents

In one minute

Diagrid has released diagrid-goose, an open-source Rust crate for running Goose agents inside Dapr Workflows.

What changed: Diagrid releases diagrid-goose, a Goose-specific open-source Rust integration with Dapr Workflows that checkpoints turns and resumes agents after crashes; unlike Vercel’s durable-harness, it targets Goose.

The company describes the package as version 0.1.1 and says it works through Goose's ACP interface without requiring changes to Goose itself.

Each Goose conversation turn is represented as a Dapr workflow activity and checkpointed after it finishes. If a worker process or container stops, Dapr can recover the workflow history, skip completed turns, and continue the interrupted work using the existing Goose session. Diagrid says this avoids repeating completed model calls and preserves conversation context across restarts.

The integration is available now with a repository quickstart that requires Dapr and Goose. Goose's SQLite session store must be kept on durable storage; the package uses Goose's existing model providers and tools. Diagrid also points users to its managed Catalyst platform, including a free project option.

The source does not establish recovery performance, behavior under every failure mode, the fixed retry limit in practice, operating cost, or whether this approach is more reliable than other workflow runtimes.
