Claude Security now scans continuously and tracks fixes

In one minute

Anthropic updated Claude Security with continuous repository monitoring, fix tracking, project knowledge bases, editable threat models, an API, webhooks, an MCP connector, and role-based access controls.

What changed: Anthropic adds continuous repository scanning and fix tracking to Claude Security, with team-context learning and API/MCP connections; it is in public beta for Enterprise customers.

The update was announced on October 21, 2026.

Teams create a project, connect repositories through the Claude GitHub app, including GitHub Enterprise Server, or use an access token for GitLab and other Git providers. Claude performs a baseline scan and then regularly scans changes based on stated risk and complexity. A project can contain multiple repositories.

Claude Security checks open findings against changed code and marks them fixed when a fix ships, including fixes made outside the product; a finding reopens if it is detected again. Its API can list and manage projects and findings. The MCP connector is available in Claude.ai and Claude Code.

The release is in public beta for Claude Enterprise customers. Anthropic says eligible organizations receive $25,000 in usage credits per month for two months, through December 31, 2026. The source does not establish independent detection accuracy, false-positive rates, or comparative performance against other security tools.
