Release 2026.10.21.1 changes the Code tab in Claude Desktop to ask a member before each command Claude runs in its Terminal panel, including when bypass-permissions or Auto mode is selected. It also adds a Chat only choice for Claude Desktop home, giving members Chat without Advanced file analysis or Cowork; the new home screen requires Claude Desktop 2.2553.0 or later.
The same entry says a very large SCIM directory sync in one tenant should no longer hold up directory changes in other tenants. It notes that members on Claude Desktop 1.52386.0 or later may lose access to Chat, Advanced file analysis, or Cowork after a required relaunch if a higher-level home setting conflicts with their selection.
Earlier entries add a Default model setting for seat tiers, a Scheduled tasks control, and OAuth connector Callback port and Callback host fields. The Compliance API now returns only the most recent 30 days of activity. The changelog does not establish availability outside Claude for Government, pricing changes, or how these controls perform in production deployments.
