Chat and Cowork now operate as one Claude across web, desktop, and mobile. A conversation can begin as chat; when a task requires code or files, Claude can continue in an Anthropic-managed cloud environment and return a document, analysis, or presentation.
Existing chats, projects, connectors, skills, and plugins carry into the unified experience. Enterprise administrators control access by role and can manage use with a new Efficient mode, which keeps the experience on Sonnet and Haiku. Other controls include model entitlements, organization, group, and member spending limits, plus pooled group budgets.
Enterprise pricing remains usage-based. Anthropic says Opus 5.5 costs 40% less than Opus 5 on typical workloads, while Sonnet 5.5 costs up to 30% less than Sonnet 5 for most work. Cloud sessions run in isolated virtual machines with network egress off by default for Enterprise. The source does not provide Enterprise price rates, regional availability, or independent validation of the cost claims.
