The release notes say monitoring also works when telemetry or nonessential traffic is disabled. Long foreground sleeps are blocked in those environments.
The release changes gateway handling: if a gateway or compatible server rejects the effort-2025-11-24 beta value or mid-conversation system messages, Claude Code retries the request without them. It also lowers memory use during compaction for large-transcript non-interactive sessions (-p and Agent SDK), and fixes cleanup that could delete recent files when cleanupPeriodDays was very large.
For enterprise administration, custom roles can now control access to Cloud sessions and Remote Control. Turning either feature on in admin settings now requests confirmation and lists custom roles with the permission. The notes also describe a Windows fix for PreToolUse and PermissionRequest hooks that could allow a tool call when Git Bash was absent and a hook command consisted only of quoted strings.
The source does not provide performance measurements, deployment requirements, pricing, or evidence of how frequently the fixed gateway and Windows cases occur.
