The company describes Beam as Reflection's first open-weight model. Users can find it in SageMaker Studio and deploy it through a fully managed SageMaker JumpStart endpoint.
AWS said Beam was ported and optimized for AWS Trainium3. Initial JumpStart availability is limited to US East (N. Virginia) and US East (Ohio). The listed checkpoint variants are BF16, FP8, and NVFP4.
According to AWS, Beam is released under the Apache 2.0 license and can be fine-tuned, inspected, modified, and run in a customer's AWS account. AWS says this supports use with proprietary code and data as well as agent workflows.
The announcement does not state pricing, supported instance types, capacity, a schedule for additional regions, or independent benchmark results. Its performance descriptions and cost-efficiency claims are not independently established by the source.
