Users can edit a display name, username, photo and bio, choose profile sections, and make a personal profile public. A public profile link uses the person’s username, and viewers must sign in to ChatGPT. OpenAI says shared profiles do not show conversation titles or content.
Profiles can showcase up to 12 Sites owned by the profile owner. For a public personal profile, a showcased Site must itself be public; adding a Site to a showcase does not change its access permissions. Business profile visibility is managed by workspace administrators, and workspace profiles are not visible to people outside that workspace. The page also says profiles may show message counts, Work and Codex token usage, activity streaks, and top plugins. The feature is gradually rolling out; showcasing Sites is currently available on web and desktop, not mobile.
