The MOU covers cooperation on AI safety, security, model evaluation, adoption research, and responsible adoption in public and private sectors. The company plans technical exchanges with local safety, security, and assurance institutions on evaluation, testing standards, and incident response.
The announcement also describes existing deployments: more than 1,500 GovTech Singapore engineers and technical staff have adopted Claude Code, while Grab says its sales assistant powered by Claude saves approximately 40,000 hours per quarter. Anthropic says organizations in regulated financial sectors can run Claude with in-region inference on Amazon Bedrock. The announcement does not provide independent validation of the reported deployment effects or specify the MOU’s binding commitments.
