The release introduces Cascade, an updated in-house agent harness; Automations that can start work in response to events in connected services; and purchasable Cloud Computers for persistent project environments. The desktop app becomes Manus Studio, with new Video Editor and Game Dev environments, while Computer Use lets Manus operate in a connected, authorized session using approved files, browser, and apps. The company also announced Cue, a standalone personal-agent app for web and desktop, with iOS expected after App Store review. Cue is in early access, free with an invite code. Manus reports that in one tested configuration Cascade used 23.2% fewer tokens, completed tasks 28.2% faster, and cost 32% less than its previous system; these are company-reported results.
