Introducing Gemini 3.8 Live with Live Avatar

Google has introduced Gemini 3.8 Live with Live Avatar in Gemini Enterprise.

The feature combines near-real-time generated video with live speech, processes visual and audio inputs together, and can make asynchronous tool calls while dialogue continues. Google says it supports speech-to-speech synchronization across 97 languages, offers preset avatars, and is allowlisting custom avatars created from reference images. Audio and video output are watermarked with SynthID.
