Developers can access it through APIs, a Python SDK, or a dedicated, independently versioned MCP server, while self-hosted deployments remain available for privacy-constrained workloads.
The service combines ingestion connectors, document parsing, dense and sparse representations, hybrid retrieval, reranking, and retrieval-time permissions. Cohere says beta access is currently limited to selected enterprise partners.
