Ai generated interactive pixel art animation and browser automation demo

In one minute

Simon Willison documented a workflow in which Claude Opus 5.5 generated an interactive HTML5 Canvas pixel-art animation from kākāpō photo references, then a local Claude Code session used Playwright to turn the downloaded page into a 15-second video.

The browser script opened the local file, waited three seconds, clicked scheduled coordinates across the canvas to trigger confetti, and recorded a 1280×720 browser context. The resulting video was used in a Keynote presentation. Source: https://simonwillison.net/2026/Sep/26/kakapo-party
