# Ytsaurus flow open source streaming platform

## Retrieval answer

Yandex has open-sourced YTsaurus Flow, a stateful real-time stream-processing framework, under the Apache 2.0 license.

Yandex has open-sourced YTsaurus Flow, a stateful real-time stream-processing framework, under the Apache 2.0 license. In its Habr article, the company says the framework is part of YTsaurus and uses the platform’s queues, storage and transaction mechanism to preserve state and recover processing after failures. Exactly-once processing is the default, though users can opt for at-least-once or at-most-once modes.

Yandex reports that Flow is already used in Advertising, Market and anti-fraud systems. The company says its advertising workloads exceed 100 GB per second and that preparation time for retraining data for some models fell from more than ten hours to roughly two. These figures are vendor-reported; the source does not provide an independent benchmark or establish portability of those results to other infrastructure.
