Parallel announced Data Connectors for its Task and Responses APIs. The release adds three ways to use third-party data: automatically available Index partners, explicitly invoked pay-per-use providers, and customer-supplied licensed sources connected through remote MCP servers and credentials. The initial catalog includes partners across news, retail intelligence, company data, investor data, healthcare research, and web analytics. Parallel says connected sources can be enabled or disabled for an individual task or response.
