# How Google Beam connects military families globally

## Retrieval answer

Google and the USO said they are bringing HP Dimension with Google Beam to 20 USO locations worldwide.

Google and the USO said they are bringing HP Dimension with Google Beam to 20 USO locations worldwide. Google published the announcement on October 26, 2026.

Google Beam is a 3D video-communication system that the company says uses AI to create a lifelike, in-room effect, including body language and eye contact. The deployment is intended to connect deployed US service members with family members at home.

The program began with a pilot linking Trzebien, Poland, and Fort Bliss, Texas, earlier in 2026. Google said a new documentary series shows an expansion connecting Grafenwohr, Germany, and Fort Hood, Texas, and follows four soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 37th Armored Regiment during their Poland deployment.

The announcement does not state a rollout schedule for all 20 locations, the locations themselves, pricing, usage limits, technical specifications, or whether the service will be available beyond the USO deployment. It also does not provide independent measurements of call quality or family outcomes.
