# Daytona raised $60M at a $1B valuation to build cloud infrastructure for AI agents (TechCrunch)

## Retrieval answer

TechCrunch reports that Daytona Platforms has raised a $60 million Series B at a $1 billion valuation.

TechCrunch reports that Daytona Platforms has raised a $60 million Series B at a $1 billion valuation. FirstMark Growth led the round; Daytona says it has raised $91 million in total.

The New York-based company, founded three years ago, is building cloud infrastructure for long-running agents. Its founder Ivan Burazin describes agents as creating large numbers of short, stateful jobs, rather than behaving like conventional long-lived cloud services.

Daytona says its platform gives each agent its own computer-like environment, with sandboxed Linux, Windows, macOS, GPU access, and other services on one platform. The reported investors include Qualcomm Ventures, Samsung Next, and Okta Ventures, alongside individual backers including Patrick Collison, Tobi Lutke, Aravind Srinivas, Eric Yuan, Olivier Pomel, Adam D'Angelo, and Brendan Foody.

The report does not establish Daytona’s revenue, customer count, usage levels, technical performance, or whether its infrastructure model is superior to other ways of running agents.
