The company had said on October 25 that phased partner onboarding was targeted for Monday, October 26, with restore access expected first after successful testing and validation. The October 26 update did not announce that access had opened. It said full service re-enrollment would follow later in phases, with instructions, video tutorials, and webinars.

ConnectWise said the incident involved unauthorized access to application credentials associated with Cloud Backup. It instructed partners to keep affected application connections disabled until service-specific instructions arrive. Existing backup archives are encrypted, isolated, and preserved, according to the advisory, and ConnectWise said it had no indication of compromise or impact to other products.
